01What we collect

When you browse Torque Authority, we collect the minimum needed to run the site: pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, and referring pages. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store the email address you provide.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment details, or precise geolocation unless you explicitly give them to us (for example, in a contact message).

02How we use it

We use this information to operate and improve the site: understanding which reviews resonate, keeping the newsletter running, responding to messages, and protecting the site from abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with data brokers. Newsletter addresses are used only for the newsletter.

03Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies: strictly necessary ones that keep the site working, and optional analytics cookies that help us understand readership in aggregate. You can control non-essential cookies through our cookie policy page and your browser settings.

04Data retention

Analytics data is retained in aggregated form for up to 26 months. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted.

05Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@torqueauthority.com and we will respond within 30 days.

06Children

Torque Authority is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

07Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will note the new "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, highlight the change on the site.
